Mentally, little Gabko is completely fine. He understands everything you tell him, even bilingually. He picks up both Hungarian and Slovak.\u00a0 <\/span>Because he lives in a bilingual environment. He sits up by himself, eats by himself, and gets the most joy from cars and tractors. He's crazy about vehicles, plays four-wheeled machines to his heart's content, and smiles from ear to ear. But he also feels like a king in the water, in the sand, on the swing. He loves throwing stones into the water, and his parents would prefer if he threw them while standing. \u201eIf only he would stand on his own two feet.\u201c<\/p>\n

They came to the ADELI Medical Center for the first time in May 2025. \u201eAnd we didn't understand,\u201c comments father Gabo with love in his eyes.\u00a0 <\/span>After an intensive rehabilitation stay, all three of them went home on their own. \u201eThe little one started walking, and we were speechless with emotion. Yes, it's still with support, but my manly dream of going for a walk in town with my son \u2013 two guys, dad and son \u2013 it's incredible! He can do it without a stroller now. I hold him and help him, but the stroller stays at home! I swear by Adeli, and we believe this is just the beginning. Gabko has good muscle mass, he's fearless, and with intensive drill, he'll surely soon be running on his own. However, it will take a few more stays at ADELI because it's intensive, the therapists are great, and Gabko cooperates incredibly. He enjoys it.\u201c<\/p>\n

In ADELI, his tongue also loosened, the language barrier crumbled, and the little boy began to communicate boldly. \u201eWe practice at home according to ADELI, the progress is great, but we need to come back here. Our Gabko will walk; he's almost at the finish line and has to make it. And thanks to his parents, Mom Eva and Dad Gabo - they would do anything and everything for their only son. \u201eWe just want him to walk. Eva gave birth in the 38th week.,\u00a0 <\/span>Weeks in the incubator followed, and after long months, the diagnosis came \u2013 cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia. Only someone who has experienced something similar can fully understand the fear and worries parents go through.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201eThe only thing we've heard from doctors since the diagnosis was made is\u00a0 <\/span>\u2013 exercise, rehabilitate, don't give up. And we function in that mode.
