ADELI mile

Discipline is paramount at ADELI, and there's no room for „antics.“ However, time can be found to liven up therapy. That's how we came up with the ADELI Mile. What could be the criteria for awarding the run? Style, speed, fair play, and teamwork? Whatever suits each individual! The important thing is to add a little spice to everyday life and keep moving! Movement and oxygen will make your heart race, stir up joy, and these are all good things for our bodies. As part of our social responsibility and public education efforts, we have focused on diagnoses such as spinal cord infarction, SMA, muscle hypotonia, and hypertonia. Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a very current topic today: children under 2 years old can be helped with a rare and very expensive drug, but the fight for its accessibility continues. Crowds of patients, therapists, nurses, doctors, and assistants joined in, and under the baton of ADELI Foundation Director Zuzana Cyprichová, a new charity calendar for 2024 titled "THE POWER OF WORDS" is already being created. We'll let you in on a little secret: the calendar will include elements of Meta Communication, stickers known from alternative communication. The calendar will thus also serve patients who do not communicate verbally for planning their time.

ADELI has moved to the capital for a beautiful, healthy afternoon!

Bratislava warmly welcomed us in mid-June. People are interested in how not to neglect their health. „Healthy Afternoon“ took place in the Nivy shopping center, during which ADELI excellently presented its Diagnostic Center, rehabilitation for the youngest babies in the BabyMed department, post-covid rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation for seniors, as well as the ADELI Foundation. Guests received advice regarding their health and adapting to life after stroke, trauma, and other conditions that limit movement, food intake, and communication. Representing us on stage in discussions were Medical Director MUDr. Kristína Saienko – Šugárová, PhDr. Nataša Haringová, MUDr. Inna Durda, and Foundation Director Ing. Zuzana Cyprichová.
