Meet a family from Ukraine, from the city of Mykolaiv. A mother and three beautiful daughters. Sadly, their father was killed in the war… The four of them are now refugees in Germany. Far from home and with minimal resources for survival.
Natálka was born at 27 weeks pregnant, weighing only 850 grams. Today she is 14 years old. The middle daughter, 11-year-old Alina, is healthy. The youngest, 5-year-old Anička, was also born prematurely, in her 7th month of pregnancy, and inhaled amniotic fluid during birth. Both sisters, Anička and Natálka, have cerebral palsy.
Last year, the girls underwent surgery in Israel. The neurosurgical procedure on their spine should open up new possibilities for the development of the sisters' movement and abilities. The fundraiser for the surgery resonated throughout Ukraine and lasted a year. Thanks to the support of many people, the necessary amount was collected and the surgery was performed. The postoperative wounds healed, and it was time for active rehabilitation. But then the war came... The bloody reality did not allow the children to rehabilitate.
On the run in Germany, in April they received another devastating piece of news. Their beloved father and husband had died. Besides providing emotional support, he was the sole financial provider for the family. However, these strong women did not give up. They are ready to live, continue, and overcome the heavy blows of fate. They began seeking rehabilitation. And they discovered ADELI in Piešťany, the best thing they could have discovered.
They greatly need our combined help. Without it, they will struggle to achieve the desired results.
We appeal to humanity, empathy, and solidarity. We invite you to support this determined family, full of strength, love, and a desire for a better life.
Thank you for every financial contribution that will help give hope to three exceptional women.
