The pregnancy was complicated, and Mikhail was born prematurely via Cesarean section. Immediately after birth, he had lung problems and subsequently contracted a staphylococcal infection. He spent over a month on breathing support in the intensive care unit. He was also baptized in the hospital and his loving parents were by his side daily. However, his health did not improve, and Mishko developed extensive bleeding in his brain... Just when it seemed Mishko had fought for his place in this world, he contracted a coronavirus infection. Mishko handled COVID like a true knight!

However, long-term insufficient blood supply to the brain takes its toll in the form of central nervous system dysfunction. This is often the cause of significantly weak muscle tone and developmental delay in children, which is later typically diagnosed as cerebral palsy. Naturally, the parents opted for an intensive rehabilitation plan for Michajlik, but the planned rehabilitation in Ukraine was made impossible by a terrifying reality: war. When it broke out two weeks ago, Miško, his mom, and grandma spent three days in the cellar.. The housing estate where they lived was shelled and bombed, until finally Only bricks remained of the house where the family used to live.. Slovakia kindly welcomed Tatiana and Miško, who were fleeing the war. Volunteers took care of them, for which the family is infinitely grateful. They have a roof over their head and food.

However, Miško urgently needs therapeutic intervention due to his condition, as neglecting a crucial period of brain development has serious future consequences. Intensive Rehabilitation in a specialized rehabilitation center can save little Miško from a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and physical and psychological disability (severe impairment).. The mother with the baby only has a few bags and minimal funds with her…

We ask you, dear Slovaks, to support our little fighter in his quest for a better life. Let's not allow war to destroy lives. 2290 Euros are needed for acute rehabilitation care for Miško here in Slovakia.

Thank you all in advance!

Mykhailyk was born in Antonivka near Kherson, in Ukraine, at the end of 2021. Today his father is fighting on the front lines, defending his country. Mykhailik is also fighting a number of dangerous diagnoses…

Mykhailyk's father is an officer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participating in the defense of the country. His mother is a lecturer at the maritime academy, where future sailors are trained. Mykhaylyk was a long-awaited child., the couple waited ten long years before God finally blessed them with a son.

The pregnancy was difficult, and Mykhaylyk was born prematurely via cesarean section. Immediately after birth, he had problems with his lungs, and later he suffered a staphylococcal infection. He spent over a month on artificial respiration in intensive care. He was also baptized in the hospital, and his loving parents were with him every day. However, his health did not improve, and Mishka has had a massive brain hemorrhage... When it seemed that Mishko had won his place in this world, he got infected with coronavirus. With COVID, Mishko coped like a true knight!

However, prolonged insufficient blood supply to the brain manifested as dysfunction of the central nervous system. This typically causes significant muscle weakness and developmental delays in a child, which are later usually diagnosed as cerebral palsy. Naturally, the parents chose intensive rehabilitation for Mykhaylyk, but the scheduled treatment in Ukraine was impossible due to the terrible reality: the war. When it broke out, Mishko spent three days in the basement with his mom and grandma.. The residential area where they lived was shelled and bombed until finally Only bricks remained of the house where the family lived.. Slovakia warmly welcomed Tetiana and Mishko, who were fleeing from the war. Volunteers took care of them, for which the family is immensely grateful. They have a roof over their heads and food.

Through his condition Mishko requires therapeutic intervention, as ignoring a critical period of brain development has serious consequences for the future. Intensive rehabilitation in a specialized rehabilitation center can save little Misha from a cerebral palsy diagnosis and severe disability). The mother with the baby has only a few bags and minimal funds...

We ask you, dear people, to support a little warrior in his pursuit of a better life. Let's not let war destroy him.

Thank you in advance!
