She's like from a commercial. A beautiful little girl who is cheerful and happy. She's one year old and needs to catch up to her peers. Timejka. Adeli's darling.
She was born a little early, in the 37th week, but everything seemed to be fine. The baby was full of life, weighed 3,100g, and measured 48cm. But at two months, she started to favor just one side, turning her head to it. However, for the doctors, everything was okay, there was no need to panic. But the parents already had their firstborn, Maximilián, at home, who didn't do anything like Timejka. That's why they had doubts about their daughter from the beginning. These fully developed after the first vaccination at four months. Timejka stopped moving her legs; they were literally like wood, straight, stiff, and non-functional. The baby started intensive rehabilitation. The little princess was eventually diagnosed with hypertonia of the lower extremities and hypotonia of the upper extremities, which means a disorder of the central nervous system. After a series of examinations by several specialists, no one gave the parents an answer to the question of what caused it. „Only one thing is known: there is no cure for it. The only thing that helps is rehabilitation,“ says mother Bianka.
However, no one is admitting that Timejka will not grow into a healthy young lady. And that's why they chose rehabilitation at Adeli. „We are convinced that we have taken the right step towards our little daughter's recovery,“ says mother Bianka. The one-year-old girl cooperates wonderfully, and it is already clear that she needs further stays. The little lady crawls, can roll over, grasp toys, pick up a biscuit herself, and put it in her mouth. She understands everything she is told, her speech is gradually improving, and she is starting with her first words, she laughs from ear to ear when she plays with her older brother. Timejka is full of energy everywhere 😊. However, she doesn't stand on her feet, she can't sit up on her own, but she can hold a sitting position for a few seconds when her mother Bianka sits her up. „I also try to get her to crawl on all fours, but her arms don't support her, we need to practice and practice. This is the foundation for Timejka's healthy future. We need to return to ADELI, Timejka was stronger, more flexible after the first stay, she handled everything excellently. When she takes her first steps, we will be the happiest in the world, thank you for every contribution to the therapies at ADELI.“
